Home is Where the Heart is
We have been home for the past few months. The births of our new granddaughters (five weeks apart) have given us much to do.
Sophie (right) and Avery have added new joy to our lives and are making it more difficult to be away from home. They're like magnets: They hold us in place or draw us back. Some have said that when I'm holding a baby, my expression seems to be saying, "Do I cut the red wire or the white wire." What do you think?

Sophie Ada
We did get out, however.
After all, it's Autumn; trees are laden with fruits.
Someone has to pick them.
Sarah, Allen, & Genevieve (AKA Sophie's big sister) doing their part.
Part 2
We hosted some out-of-town (Israel) guests for a week. We expect some more Israeli guests next week. (They're Sarah's cousins.) We're having a good time showing them around. Here we are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Sarah's cousins Esther and baby Ruth, also from Israel, are staying with us.
And, of course, we are also getting visits from Avery, Sophie, and Genevieve.
