Festival of Lights, 2021

Our family began our Festival of Lights early* by going to the Winter Lanterns show at the Nassau County Museum of Art, a drive-thru adventure.

At the end of the drive, there was an area where the kids (of all ages) could have some outdoor fun.

As it was also Allen's birthday, we all had cake. We don't know how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, but we do know that if Sarah could have gotten six dozen candles on the top of a cupcake, she'd have been a few short. חג חנוכה שמח Have a Happy Chanukkah and/or other holiday that you choose to celebrate at this time of year. Allen & Sarah *- We plan to have our traditional family Chanukkah celebration the first weekend in December with candle-lighting and latkas. But first, we've got to take off some of Thanksgiving's pounds.
